Stage V & IMO III

The M26.3 family has recently been IMO-III certified by Moteurs Baudouin. These engines will also be available as Stage V in early 2022. We can therefore already offer you these engines. More models will follow, both with more and less power. There is a lot of interest in the IMOIII and Stage V solutions from Moteurs Baudouin in the European market. Partly because they are basically real ship engines. For example, five 6M26.3 engines are currently being installed for diesel-electric propulsion at a Dutch yard.

The use of modern ECU-controlled common rail technology and high permitted back pressure enables a very compact aftertreatment package. The emission after the turbo is also lower than with a mechanically injected engine, which means that the aftertreatment package can be compact. But consumption is also much lower due to the common-rail technology, especially at partial load. Not unimportant with the rising fuel prices!

The DOC-DPF-SCR combi Stage V package for the large V12 engine of 1650 hp is only 62 cm high. The package placement and orientation is flexible, allowing it to be positioned almost anywhere it fits in the engine room. In addition, the Stage V waste gas treatment package is easy to maintain, because it can be unscrewed and the elements can then be easily replaced for cleaning. A really solid solution! 

The M26.3 common rail models are completely improved versions of the proven and well-known mechanical M26.2 predecessor. These engines are all fitted with inspection covers and loose liners. This ensures, for example, that major maintenance can easily be done on board. The engine also has water-cooled manifolds and turbos, which means that the heat emission in the engine room remains limited. Finally, the engines have a BV Type Approval. 

In addition to the distribution of Baudouin marine engines, ABATO Motors also supplies industrial engines of this brand. In addition to maintenance, there is also a 24/7 breakdown service and a fast parts supply. Because there are more than ten service engineers, there is always someone ready. ABATO Motoren BV has proven in recent years that it is on location 100% of the time within four hours, day and night.
